Two notes before jumping in:
Proof of Military Service. Most companies require some form of military ID. These include: a Military ID Card (active/reserve/retired), Current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), Drivers License with Veterans Designation, Photograph in uniform, be wearing uniform (if your service permits), Veterans Organization Card (e.g., American Legion and VFW), DD214, discharge paperwork, or other form of identification. Other restaurants and companies may go by the honor system.
Participation. Second, always call ahead to verify locations, times, and participation. Many of the listed companies are franchises and may have different policies. We will do our best to keep this page updated as we find new info.

Applebee’s invites all active-duty soldiers and veterans to pull up a chair for a meal and heartfelt thanks this Veterans Day. With valid proof of U.S. military service, customers will be able to eat one complimentary entree from a choice of favorites. This offer is valid during regular business hours.
International House of Pancakes

With a valid military I.D. or discharge papers, active-duty soldiers and veterans will receive a complimentary short stack of pancakes between the hours of 6 a.m. and 10 p.m.

Mother’s invites anyone in active service or any veteran to enjoy $2 burgers all day long and $2 Blue Moon beers from 5 p.m. until close.
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

This year, Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corp. is honoring America’s service men and women on Veterans Day by giving away free doughnuts to all veterans and active military personnel. Veterans and active military personnel are invited to visit any participating U.S. Krispy Kreme store on Veterans Day and enjoy one free doughnut of any variety.
Home improvement retailer Lowe’s Companies will offer a 10 percent discount to active-duty, National Guard and reserve members, retirees, veterans and their immediate family members, Nov. 8 through Nov. 15, in honor of Veterans Day. The Lowe’s discount can be used on purchases of as much as $5,000, for a maximum discount of $500. It can be used only on purchases made in stores, and is not available for sales at Lowes.com. It does not apply to previous sales or purchases of services or gift cards. Customers must present a military ID card or other proof of service.
