The truth here is that if you count civilian casualties overseas as well as in the US you will find that children’s deaths have always outweighed soldiers deaths. Bombing, dislocation, malnutrition, crossfire, contamination of the environment by chemicals and depleted uranium makes civilian deaths on average 10 times higher than soldier’s deaths.
